ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL EURASIAN CONFERENCE ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND TECHNOLOGIES

2024 is an important milestone in the history of development of the Eurasian patent system.
The Eurasian Patent Convention (EAPC) was signed on 9 September 1994 and started the creation of a common patent space in the Eurasian region. 

    Nowadays The Eurasian patent system is one of the most successful and stable integration projects in the Eurasian region with important mission to advance the intellectual capacity of Eurasian countries as inexhaustible resource for their development.

Another mission is to reinforce the international cooperation and regional integration, including famous strategic initiatives - Big Eurasian Partnership and China’s “One Belt One Road”.
This year Conference is devoted to cooperation with China, which is one of the key and perspective partners among countries involved in the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO) and also the leader in foreign trade and investment partnership for those countries.  

The major issues to discuss at the upcoming Conference are:
- prospects for the development of comprehensive economic partnership;
- strategic directions to cooperate in the intellectual property for the Eurasian area;
- providing effective protection and defense for intellectual property rights;
and other themes.
